You’ve got good reason. Fortunately, experts say you can cut your risk of infection dramatically by being choosy about where you go. Studies show public restrooms in hospitals and fast-food restaurants are often the cleanest. Ladies’ rooms are twice as germy as men’s rooms. And while most of us seek the stall farthest from the door, it can be the dirtiest since everyone chooses it. In contrast, the first stall is often the least used and cleanest.
