When it comes to possessions “new” is not the rule. Most of the items in the average American household got there second-hand. Sixty-six percent admit that more than half of the items in their home were previously owned by someone else, and 75 percent say they’re comfortable with the idea of buying a gently used, second-hand product in the future.
